The Elemental Wall

The  trail up to The Elemental Wall is getting better and better. Climbs  stay pretty clean as the cliff doesn't get too much sandy runoff. There  is still a lot of potential up here and I hope local route setters fill  in some of the gaps!

The Super Scolex 5.12d**** 15 bolts

This  an extension to The Scolex. Climb The Scolex (description below)  clipping The Scolex anchor and then continuing for 5 more bolts into a  cruxy creamy colored shallow corner of hard smooth stone that steepens  into a strenuous roof. There are a lot of options for this pitch  including doing it as 2 pitches.

The Scolex 5.11b*** 10 bolts

Currently  the rightmost route on the wall. Start in a left facing dihedral.   About 15 feet up move right into an off width chimney system for a few  feet and then exits onto a clean face with a sharp arête to your left.  The crux is about half way up on the face just right of the sharp arête.  The Scolex has got it all.
