1. Fiona’s Promenade 5.9+ bolts ***
First pitch on the right when you first get to The Troll Zone. Fantastic solid grey rock very reminiscent of El Potrero Chico. Best warm up at the crag.
2. Night Elf 5.12b/c 11 Bolts ***
One of the best-looking lines in the zone. Initially slabby then climbs the blue limestone streaked line through the center of the crag on excellent rock. Steep!
3. Curse of the Troll 5.11a 12 bolts***
Crags original line. The start is a low angle gray slab. Quickly steepens to overhanging. There is a tough face move just before the upper bulge. The first part of the bulge is more juggy than it looks. Once on the upper headwall move right to unobvious crimp. Stand up to jugs right of the anchor. Pumpy!
3a. Billy Goat Bridge 5.11a 13 bolts**
Climb the first 9 bolts of Curse of the Troll and then traverse left along the crack and finish up the last couple bolts of Billy Goat. Put a long draw on the traverse bolts to reduce rope drag.
4. Billy Goat 5.11c 11bolts**
Left of Curse of the Troll. The first few bolts are casual. The 15 feet in the gray streak before the obvious upper corner is very thin and technical. Overall steeper and harder than it looks from the ground. Save a little juice for the final left facing corner at the top.
5. Troglodyte 5.12a bolts ***
This is a striking line that starts less then vertical and steepens to a hard boulder problem a third of the way up in dark solid rock.
6. Topless Troll 5.12b bolts **
Stick clip to the second bolt. The first 20 feet are powerful and thuggy before encountering superb stone up high. The mid-section is very thin but all there. The steep bullet finish will test your stamina! Hang on if you can. I would give this climb 3-4 stars if it wasn’t for the flakey rock low down. Nonetheless one of my favorite climbs at the crag.
7. Troll Dance 5.12d****
This line climbs beautiful swirled pink rock. Pull hard through the steep pocketed rat cave for 20 feet to bullet rock. Very thin and technical. Direct bolt line offers the best rock and climbing.
You can climb Topless Troll and traverse left of the anchor clipping a bolt between the climbs so you can hang the draws on Troll Dance.
